Remarks
Engine is a very rare Ford 427 SOHC "Cammer". Designed and built in late 1964 with overhead camshafts, intended for NASCAR, it was Ford's answer to the new Chrysler Hemi. Only about 300 were made with very few originals still in existance. I purchased it new in the crate in 1970 from Holman and Moody. I have owned both engine and boat since new. The engine was modified to 476 cu. in. using the best parts and services available: Reath, Mondello, Velasco, Crower, Hillborn, Carrillo, Venolia, Bassett. It sits on a custom Mr. Ed trailer. Have all the original parts plus some extras. Engine and boat have less than 5 hours run time since complete restoration. Everything is show quality throughout. Runs strong, looks great, is like new! Boat and motor are true pieces of classic history.
Asking $85,000 OBO.
