Additional Boat Details

Interior layout

There is a galley to the starboard as you enter the main cabin through the companionway. Forward of the galley there is a berth/settee with two large storage bins on the side and on very large storage hole below the settee. On the combing there is a an installed am/fm cd radio. The combings have all been replaced with oak.
On the port side when you enter the cabin through the companionway there is a large (almost a double) aft quater berth. Forward of the quater berth there is a very large settee berth that pulls out to form a real double birth. There two large storage bins on the port side as well, and a large storage bin below the aft quarter berth. On the port side bulkhead there is a fold down dinette table large enough for four. Forward there is a door on the bulk head leading to the head which is between the cabin and the forward vee berth. The head has a vanity sink to starboard with plenty of storage behind the sink and below. The forward vee berth is large 6.6 feet long and 5ft wide with storage hold on each side and a hatch with a solar vent/fan. All cushions have been re-covered in navy blue. The interior is very clean and in excellent condition.

Galley

The galley has a very good working two burner alcohol stove. The is storage behind the stove for spices, and miscellaneous items. Below the stove there is a draw for flatware and to the aft side of the stove there is a very large and heavily insulated ice box (works very well keeping food and drinks cold) that has a built in shelf for smaller items.

Electronic Equipment

The boat comes with a am/fm cd radio/stereo, a hand held vhf radio, a permanently installed vhf radio with a mast head antenna, and a garmin 441 gps chart plotter with depth sounder and fish finder that is negotiable.

Electrical System

Topaz has completely updated wiring with a new control panel. she has both ac and dc interior lights, and plenty outlets in the head area and main cabin (both ac and dc outlets) for additional use. There is also an alternator for charging the two deep cycle batteries.

Other Equipment

Topaz comes with a three/four person dingy, 4-6 life jackets, fenders, docklines, a french made plastismo roller furler, lazy jacks, self tailing winches, all lines leading to the cockpit with large clutches, two anchors, a hydraulic boomvang, two installed battry charges, shore power with 50ft cord, and much more.

Remarks

This is one of the best sailing boats I have ever been on. She tracks true on all points of sail, can be sailed very close to the wind, and always has a light tiller. She has virtually no weather helm and she is fast, very fast for her size. She is a little tender but locks in and doesn't yawl. She is also remarkably roomy for narrow beam boat. We have had five adults sleep comfortable on board and we cook all the time on board. The boat is is great condition because we love her. We are only selling her because we are moving. She is coast guard documented.
