The Hatteras 53 Motor Yacht is a classic yachting design and form factor, few motoryacht builders of the era come close to achieving the same level of comfort and luxury, and none match the quality construction long associated with the Hatteras brand.

The floorplan features an expansive three-stateroom, three-head interior, the wheelhouse is open to the salon, and a centerline doorway leads to a roomy aft deck area, from which a ladder stairway take one up to the bridge, where another full helm station, a large seating area, a full soft top overhead and scenic views await.

The galley is down several steps from the wheelhouse area and features large counter spaces, abundant storage, and dinette for four. Beneath the galley floor is an excellent Northern Lights 16 Kilowatt generator in sound proof enclosure with only 3,000 of its long life hours consumed.

Forward is a guest stateroom (or crew cabin) with over/under bunks and private head with shower.

The tankage is intended for extended cruising, with 975 gallons of fuel, 1,000 gallons of water, and waste capacity of 125 gallons, plus macerators for overboard discharge where permitted.
