This 1980 Tartan T33 is a sloop designed and built to the high quality you would expect from Tartan. This design was first offered in 1979 and continued through 1984 with 220 boats built.
Below she has standing headroom throughout the teak-trimmed cabin. There are a settee berth and a pilot berth to port and another settee with storage shelves to starboard. Combined with the quarter berth and the double forepeak berth this T33 will accommodate 6 comfortably.
There is also a seat with a backrest at the opening to the quarter berth and a large chart table that folds out of the way when not needed.
The galley is to starboard the companionway, although the ice chest is to the port fore of the nav station.
The head is on the port side between the forepeak and the salon and there is a hanging locker to starboard.
There is also a table in the salon that folds out of the way when not needed and all cabin lighting was replaced in 2020.
On deck, this T33 includes eight opening ports and two deck hatches. There are teak handrails, new Dyneema lifelines (2021), a new Rocna anchor (2020), and a transom boarding ladder.
The cockpit includes a Lewmar folding wheel, a bimini with sunscreen, and a dodger with isinglass. There are 3 new Lewmar EVO self-tailing winches (2020/2021) winches in the cockpit and a Lewmar #8 single-speed winch at the mast.
The sail inventory includes a new main (2020) with full-length battens, a 125% genoa on a new Harken roller furler (2020), and an asymmetrical spinnaker. Also added in 2020 was a new Harken Lazy Jack.
There is new standing rigging (2020), including new chainplates. Additionally, most of the running rigging is new in 2020 or 2021.
Electronics include a new Raymarine EV1000 autopilot (2020), a Si-Tex Chartplotter (2020), and a new Standard Horizon Eclipse VHF radio (2020).
The boat has 30 elec service, a Marinco battery charger, and one cranking battery, and two house batteries.
Additionally, in 2020 the bottom got a fresh paint job, the mast was re-wired, and a new Weems & Plath LED tricolor/anchor light was added. There is also a new inflatable dinghy (no motor).
This one is ready to go. If you are looking for a weekend sailer, or a week or a month, that is fit and water ready you'd be hard-pressed to find a better option than this 1980 Tartan T33.
