This 1982 Sea Ray 355T is kind of a rare find. According to the 2018 edition of the Power Boat Guide only 69 of these boats were made during the production run from 1982 to 1983. Listed as a sedan cruiser this is probably the closest thing Sea Ray ever made to a trawler.

She is noted for having arguably the largest master stateroom found in a boat under 40 feet. The stateroom also has a huge hanging locker and its own hatchway to the head.

The head is very spacious and has a separate molded fiberglass shower stall with a seat and an accordion folding shower door.

This one is particularly unique because it has a port side lower helm. It also has a built-in bar and an ice maker. The galley includes a relatively new Norcold AC/DC refrigerator and an almost new microwave/convection oven.

There is laminate flooring in the main salon and a large slinging glass door to the cockpit that lets in tons of light. The salon, lower helm, and galley are all surrounded by huge windows that make the area feel huge when opened up.

The cockpit, although on the smallish size, has a nice sized swim platform and ladder for easy access to the water.

There are molded in steps to a very large flybridge area that includes built-in passenger seating. The flybridge includes an almost new bimini top that matches the shade cover over the cockpit area.

There is a well-laid-out helm with convenient access to all switches and controls. there is also custom-made African mahogany brightwork on the stern and the bowsprit.

The foredeck has anti-skid paint and an electric windlass and there is also custom-made African mahogany brightwork on the stern and the bowsprit.

A small mast above the windshield, which has covers, holds the GPS antenna, a spotlight, a loudspeaker, and the anchor light.

The boat is powered by twin Perkins 135 HP diesel engines pushing Borg Warner Velvet Drive transmissions. Although the hour meters on the upper helm show only 88 hours on the port engine and 86 hours on the starboard engine, those gauges were replaced with 2600 hours on them making the actual hours 2688 and 2686 respectively.

The Westerbeke diesel gen-set was completely overhauled approximately 10 hours ago.
