1983 26' Sail Boat -- STORED FOR MOST OF THE LAST 15 YEARS - upgraded and restored 5+ years ago to like new, immaculate condition and stored under cover since.
You will not find a classic Laguna day sailer in better condition! IMMACULATE "LOST LAGUNA SLOOP!"
Designed in 1983 by Shad Turner for Laguna Yachts as a light-weight and fast cruiser, this boat handles well in choppy lakes as well as big swells in the open ocean and has incredible cabin space. Full standing headroom (6' 2") in a 26' trailerable day sailer! Comfortably sleeps as many as six.
Fully upgraded and restored to like new condition, then stored for most of the last 15 years. Barely sailed (only once) since restoration.
The following was done brand new right before boat was last stored over 5 years ago:
* Beautiful topsides paint, professionally done.
* Bottom Interlux epoxy barrier coat and Interlux Micron CSC paint-no blisters at all.
* All handrails, the tiller, and teak on the deck were freshly sanded and varnished right before boat was stored.
* New heavy duty see through drop hatch boards.
* This boat has a smooth running, easy starting Honda 10hp, four-stroke outboard on stainless mount with electric controls, which can charge house battery.
* Foredeck anchor locker with drain.
* Halyard winch and new Lewmar rope clutches on mast.
* This boat has 3 sails: Main, jib and genoa, all in very good condition when stored.
Equipment:
* CDI roller furler has less than one season on it.
* Barely used 2002 Honda BF 9.9 outboard 4 stroke motor with electric controls--starts quick, runs great and moves this boat along effortlessly.
* House battery with 85 amp hours
* Stored since brand new Kenwood CD with iPod input and remote control for your sailing music.
* Brand new Princess stainless steel propane two-burner galley stove.
* Brand new fresh-water tank with stainless deck fill, 28 gallons.
* New Harken Mast track and spinnaker/whisker pole ring.
* New forward hatch lid with new seal lets in light but is weather-tight.
* New Harken cam cleats for headsail sheets.
* Twin water pumps at galley sink
* Built-in icebox in galley
* Stored since brand new Dutton-Lainson trailer winch and winch strap.
* Comes with perfect fit boat cover, tandem axel trailer below with top of the line electric winch and dual wheel 1500 lb marine trailer tongue and many other onboard extras.
** Excellent Zieman tandem axle trailer with nearly new tires and extendable tongue. (some rust since stored)
The Honda outboard 10 HP 4 stroke motor with electric control, the tandem axel trailer with extendable tongue and the electric self loading winch are worth $4-6k if sold separately. All other upgrades and equipment, coupled with the condition of the boat and low hours make this an incredible deal.
