Magnificent trawler in excellent condition, both engines are new, many upgrades and replacements!

The Mainship 36DC Nantucket Trawler is a legend among trawler fans. Finding one in good condition today is a challenge. Finding one like this, which has been completely refurbished, re-powered, and in truly outstanding condition is like finding a unicorn walking through your yard.

The seller has spent the last eight years going through this boat with a fine toothed comb to make sure that there are no soft spots, mold, rot, or rust.

All engine Information provided by the Owner: The engines were both just replaced with Chevy 383 marine engines completely and professionally remanufactured. Every part but the blocks and some exterior accessories were replaced. They are closed loop (freshwater) cooled engines. The stock motors were 270HP each, making a cruise speed of 14-15kts. These replacements are 340HP each, which along with larger shafts and new 24 bronze props boosted the cruise speed by several knots, the top speed by several more, and allow her to idle at a typical trawler speed of 6-7kts while burning barely any fuel. When you want or need to get on plane and move along, this girl will do it in style.

The interior accommodations are surprisingly roomy for a 36 foot boat. Forward, there is a guest cabin featuring a double v-berth, reading lamps and storage drawers under the berths.

Additional lighting and ventilation is provided thru a Port-light and a large opening deck hatch. There are a total of 10 opening port-light windows with screens for ventilation.

Moving aft through the privacy door you will find the ships day/guest head featuring a sink, stand-in-place shower with hot & cold pressure water, vanity with mirror, storage and power outlet.

Continuing further aft and to starboard you will find a raised dinette which will easily accommodate four adults or drops and converts to a double berth if needed.

Opposite to port you will find the ships well laid-out galley featuring a deep ceramic sink with granite surround, an updated granite tile counter and backsplash, a stowable induction cooktop, convection oven, and a full-sized 120VAC/12VDC refrigerator freezer. Lots of counter top space and great storage above and below.

Moving aft up 3 steps you walk into the main salon. To starboard you will find the full functioning lower helm station . There are storage cabinets and shelves throughout the 9' x 10' main salon.

Further aft and just to port on the main companionway and down three steps you enter the very large owners stateroom featuring an en-suite head with separate stall shower and large bed.

This bedroom contains a tremendous amount of storage in hanging lockers and custom storage cabinets. A large deck hatch above the bed and numerous fixtures provide comfortable lighting.

This cruiser boasts a huge amount of living space for it's length and could be your next home on the water.
