This 1986 TROJAN 11 METER EXPRESS is a great sport fishing yacht.
This boat hails from Newport, RI. The current owner purchased her in 2020 with the intention of using her as a live aboard, however, he changed his mind. The current owner never ran the boat long distance; he only used her in the local waters of RI during the 2020 season.
This boat is unique in that she was re-powered with Cummins 5.9 Diamond Series Diesel Engines with only 1,950 hours!
Trojan Boats are known for producing ideal offshore fishing boats for sport anglers providing plenty of space for all the fishing gear needed: tackle boxes, fishing poles, etc.
Another nice feature of the boat is that although she is set up as a fishing machine, she also has a luxury yacht feel: wither the spacious layout that is great for entertaining and providing a comfortable living space. She sleeps up to 6 adults, and there is ample storage space, especially if she is used as a liveaboard.
The engine compartment hatches are hidden under the salon carpet. Come down the steps and you will find the galley to port and convertible dinette starboard.
The U-shaped galley comes fully equipped with a refrigerator/freezer, double sink, microwave, two-burner stove, and lots of cabinet storage space. The lower area features Amtico teak and holly flooring.
The head can be accessed from the hallway and from the stateroom. It includes a full-standing shower, sink, and electric flush head. The stateroom is spacious and includes a surprising amount of closet and storage space.
The flybridge is surprisingly roomy with two pedestal seats behind the helm station and cushioned bench seating around the console. The tuna tower is fitted with a canvas top that fully covers the flybridge area with removable isinglass. The cockpit is also covered by a full canvas awning. The tower comes equipped with Rupp Outriggers and 4 rocket launchers.
As of May 2022, the boat has two (2) new batteries and custom curtains made to enclose the helm.
She also has all modern electronics.
