This 1987 Phoenix Blackhawk 909 Express Cruiser is an outstanding performance cruiser. It has sleek good looks, attention-getting styling, and most important, enduring quality and substantial construction.
The twin 270 HP, 350 Cubic inch Crusader engines are in excellent condition according to the seller, with only 571 original hours.
There is a large open cockpit with a built-in swim platform and ladder, and the upholstery is new and looks sharp. There is a newer Ray-marine GPS/Chartplotter/Radar display, with Radome, and a newer Ray-marine VHF radio.
The air conditioned cabin is spacious with a dinette that easily converts to a large double berth. The aft cabin converts to a roomy double berth. The galley is fully equipped with a refrigerator, ice maker, twin burner stove, and microwave oven
There is lots of natural lighting that streams through the skylights above the dinette and galley and head. There is a huge, walk-through forward hatch providing easy access to the foredeck and anchor pulpit.
There is a freshwater flush system for both engines and a macerator for the toilet and holding tank.
The seller reports this boat planes at 21 mph, 2200 rpm, cruising speed is 28 mph at 3200 rpm, top speed is 33 mph at 4800 rpm.
