The 1988 Bayliner 3218 is a versatile cruising boat with almost trawler-like characteristics. Its layout provides live-aboard amenities like forward and aft cabin berths, a nice salon, and galley. I encourage you to look through the ad and familiarize yourself with what the Bayliner 3218 has to offer.
The Bayliner 3218 has a lower station helm. Outside of the standard gauges and switches like fuel, voltage, tach, VHF, and trim tabs the lower helm is outfitted with Garmin radar, chart plotter, fish finder with depth sounder.
An L-shaped sofa is located on the port side of salon and can be converted into a double berth. The salon has a very open feel thanks to being surrounded by windows to port, starboard and forward. The forward salon windows have a snap on external cover while the side windows have curtains for privacy.
A private mid-cabin stateroom is accessed from just behind the L-shaped sofa via a set of steps with a sliding hatch above the steps. There is a vanity with sink and storage below at the base of the steps. The berth is located below the elevated sofa above.
Step down the other set up steps forward of the salon to the galley, enclosed head and forward berth.
The galley down features a dual galley sink, a 3-burner stove cooktop with cutting board cover, an oven, microwave and refrigerator. There is also plenty of cupboard and drawer storage.
Across from the galley is the enclosed head. A manual pump toilet, vanity with sink, mirror and shower round out the features.
The forward berth has a double berth with access to the anchor locker via a hatch in the forward bulkhead. A starboard hanging locker is provided for storage.
The flybridge is accessed via a ladder. The dash with swivel helm seat is mounted along the center beam. There are bench passenger seats to either side of the helm seat for plenty of passenger seating.
The flybridge comes with a mooring cover to protect the bridge from the elements when not in use.
A full enclosure for the aft cockpit is also included complete with Bimini, sides and aft curtain.
