Our gorgeous, well-maintained boat is a perfect mix of hard-working fishing boat, sophisticated entertaining cruiser, and a fully rentable money maker that makes $600/day throughout the summer. We have it moored in south Seattle, with the option to take over our slip.
The engine has 401 hours and is powered by a 5.0 MPi Mercruiser 260hp engine. The prop is a Mercury Bravo Three with coupled twin propellers. This engine and prop combination gives the boat excellent fuel efficiency and power balance, along with supreme performance.
The 240 Sundancer is a four berth sports cruiser that boasts what is arguably the best handling in its class. It’s loaded with features including shore power, distribution panel, water heater with exchanger, GPS, and plugins for downriggers and other accessories
CRUISING
Spend a weekend in the San Juan’s anchored up in a cove with your family or friends. The convenience of a toilet, shower, sink, fridge, microwave and stove make it a perfect floating hotel. Sleeps 4 comfortably. BBQ your daily catch on the grill. Or swim in the lake using the swim platform and ladder. Cruise Lake Union and anchor up to your favorite restaurant for dinner.
FISHING
Our boat is a fully-equipped fishing boat and comes with thousands of dollars worth of modern fishing equipment: fish finder sonar, downriggers, and an electronic troll mode built into the motor that makes it easy to go from ½ - 3 miles an hour (perfect for fishing from trout to salmon). Imagine going through the locks with your daily catch or taking your friends out to crab for the day. The 240 Sundancer is the perfect size boat to fish comfortably.
RENTING
When you’re not using the boat, you can rent it out for extra cash. We have been renting the boat now for 3 years and most recently were averaging over $4,000/mo during the summer months. We have an online listing, rental history, full book of instructions and a clientele of renters who know our boat.
The boat is a perfect size for transitioning from local lake waters to the open sea. It comes with three different covers that make it usable all around the year, including in the winter with the fully enclosed cabin cover. We have taken very good care of this boat and have had it maintained regularly at Gallery Marine in Seattle.
