2007 Rinker 226 Captiva Bowrider powered by a 5.0L V8 350 MAG Mercruiser engine with an Alpha One leg sterndrive and only 300 hours of FRESHWATER use.
If you have been looking for a great runabout / bowrider that will give you performance, a laundry list of features, and most of all a thrilling ride, then this 2007 Captiva 226 is waiting for you to take her out for a spin. The changes that were made for this model were all geared towards comfort and performance, and Rinker has definitely met this goal. The Captiva handles superbly, jumping over wakes and taking tight turns without hesitation, proving this 226 will deliver a smooth dry ride. She is also a ton of fun on skis and wakeboards if that’s your go.
Aside from all the watersports action, remember that Rinker is an upscale boat builder, and this new model includes a number of noteworthy innovations. You'll notice that all the storage areas are lined with rotocast tubs, which is honestly something never seen before in a boat like this. These tubs are nearly indestructible and will keep any water from escaping into the bilge.
Like many other craft this size, the Captiva 226 has a walk-through transom for easy access to the large swim platform. Unlike many other builders, however, Rinker managed to keep a full-beam sunpad in the equation by building in a double-hinged section that folds out of the way to reveal the walk-through (and the folding section can be propped up to create a large chaise lounge).
You'll find that Rinker has taken advantage of every possible space on the 226 to include comfort, style and convenience — there are 28-foot boats with less.
This 23 footer is a lovely boat, having been stored in the winter in tempeture controlled underground storage, never in the water and extremely well cared for and maintained, it packs the desirable look you want in your new boat and presents in excellent condition.
