In the cockpit, the business end of the boat, the R305 offers a tackle station with a sink and cutting board, a 30-gallon live well behind the helm seat, a 25-gallon lighted transom Livewell, gigantic below-deck fish boxes with insulated lids, rod holders, rocket launchers overhead, toe rails to keep you aboard when landing a prize and a folding rear seat for when the work is all done.

At the helm is essentially a glass cockpit, two large and integrated Raymarine E120 displays convey GPS, radar and echo data, and the Yamaha Command Link digital gauges above them provide accurate, real-time stats on boat systems and operating conditions.

The portside passenger seating flips into a chaise lounge for a better view of the cockpit action and the captain, and vice versa, as well as protection from wind and spray thanks to the overhead hard top and full canvas and isinglass enclosure.

Below deck, the roomy interior worthy of any similarly sized upscale express cruiser features stand-up headroom and a spacious feel, with teak cabinets and includes a teak-and-holly sole, full-service galley with microwave, standup head/shower with Vacuflush porcelain toilet, adjustable teak table, and convertible dinette forward.

The R305 is cleverly designed to sleep six people comfortably. The aft berth with its wide entry sleeps two people in total comfort. The forward V-berth converts from a dinette to a bed for two more people and is over seven feet long. Finally, full-size Pullman-style bunk beds on each side of the forward berth fold up and out to sleep two more people.

So, move over Grady, Whaler and Tiara, and so long Amberjack, this Robalo is ready for her next and second owner to take over.
