Beautiful 2014 Com-Pac Horizon Day Cat Boat for sale on the Chesapeake Bay in eastern Virginia.

This boat has a beautiful custom highly reflective Imron blue hull paint that really has this vessel looking sharp. She's in excellent overall condition and is 100% ready to sail.

This is a really well-built, easily launched, and sailed boat!!

This Com-Pac has a 10'4 cockpit, offering plenty of room to stretch out and relax. The Day Cat has two fiberglass seat lockers that provide plenty of storage. On deck, there is an insulated, built-in icebox cooler with a drain overboard. There are seven-seat cushions that match the backrest/coaming cushion for all of the seating along both sides and across under the tiller.

Below deck, there are quarter berths that extend under the cockpit to provide 6'6 of sleeping space, and the center can be covered by the backrest cushions creating a pretty spacious V berth. The portable head stores under the cockpit floor and can easily be used privately with the cockpit doors closed.

Auxiliary power is provided by a Newer Yamaha 9.9 hp high thrust long shaft, electric tilt outboard engine. The engine is very easy to bring up out of the water to change from sailing to motoring with the press of a button. There's no hour meter but the owner estimates that he only puts 6 - 8 hours on the Yamaha per year.

The boat has two full covers which were new in 2017. There is a tan cover that can be used with the mast up or down which is typically used when the boat is on the water. There is a nice (gray) cover that can only be used when the mast is down, so it's used when the boat is parked on the trailer. This boat is always covered when it's not in use!!

The Com-Pac Bimini is about 7 feet long and is in like-new condition. The Bimini top and mainsail covers aren't used much since the boat is always covered, and they are both in excellent condition.

This boat has the Com-Pac electrical package which includes a battery, navigation, and cabin lights with a circuit breaker panel for the lights. A marine battery switch (1 - 2 or both and off) has also been added so that the battery can be turned off when the boat is not in use. There is also added an additional switched panel in the hold near the battery with two 12v power outlets and two USB ports, which is great for having a continuous power source for cellular technology-based navigation and music.

The original Com-Pac Horizon transom mounted boarding ladder has been replaced with a four-step telescoping ladder which is much easier to use both on the water and on the trailer. A sturdy stainless steel handhold was also added to grab while boarding. The original transom ladder is included and could be remounted.

This is the second Com-Pac that the seller has owned. Their build quality and sailing manners are fantastic, and she is an easily trailed/launched/sailed boat. If you are going to be in the lower Chesapeake Bay region and you are interested, please call for a showing.
