Morgan 30-1 Sloop, 1971,Pocket cruiser & racer, 10,000 lbs displacement 4,000 ballast
3.5 ft shoal draft for gunkholing. 7'8" draft with swing keel to compete upwind.
6.1 ft headroom, yet low freeboard aspect. She was raced by previous owner in the weekly DISC yacht races. Shes a proven racer placing first in DISC Spring 6-week Racing series in 2021.
Full head with shower and 2022 Nature's Head composting toilet (head thru-hulls have been filled)
I purchased the boat 2021 with plan to take to the Bahamas as she is a great pocket cruiser; the few hundred miles we sailed with her in rough weather she was a real trouper, handled well even sailing in narrow ICW canals (pics soon) and the Yanmar 2GM20F ran like a top with no smoking. There is fiberglass repair needed to bow hull; December 2022 survey of damage, and assurance of repairability and seaworthiness available. If you are handy that way, and local to the area, this could be a great deal for you with all the improvements made. A beautiful boat.
