She is sloop-rigged and a classic Ted Irwin design that was popularized in the early 1970s for coastal cruising. This Irwin model is equipped with a unique long keel design that provides better directional stability versus a fin keel.

This Irwin 32.5 was first produced in 1972 and is best known for having more cabin room than most boats of her size. That's because of her 10-foot plus beam, well-thought-out saloon, and aft cabin. The headroom is around 6+ feet.

The center cockpit is deep with plenty of room to have a crew for a competitive sail or an easy cruise entertaining friends. She can be customized to fit a collapsible overhead shade bimini to keep out of the sun when at the slip or on anchor.

The upper deck boasts ample room to set up deck chairs to watch the sunset while at anchor or hanging out at the dock.
