Low Hours 1975 Ingrid 38! Engel AC/DC Fridge, Stove/Oven, and Electrosan Marine Sanitation Device!

This 1975 Blue Water Boats Ingrid 38 is available and located in Alaska for viewing. Marconi Cutter version with two cabins!

The Fiberglass version was extremely popular with more than 140 built.

It has a Large Galley, The galley features an Engel ac/dc fridge, a stove, and an oven. The cabin is heated with a Dickinson diesel heater. It has a full head with an electro scan marine sanitation device.

The engine is a Westerbeake.

Nice solid boat, great liveaboard, or Ocean sailer.

Per the seller: Boat updates;
New ceiling put in (pictures to show)
two new D-8 house batteries, Two new start batteries( 820 dollar update done last week)
Engel fridge freezer, automatically switches from 12 volt house power to 120 volt shore power.
stainless steel bar b que mounted on aft stanchion.
35d westerbeke powerplant,
drop down projector screen with projector and play station 4 for a bad ass home theater experience.
aluminum spiral step ladder for easy entry and exit.
dickinson drip oil heater ( lived on the boat for 5 years in alaska and never had complaints about being cold) heater equipt with a barometric damper and a downdraft prevention exhaust cap. put a lot of work into getting it to work correctly for the boat.
also upgraded aluminum fuel tank for the dickinson maybe 13 gallons?
fuel water inline seperator for engine.
marine sanitation device type two for legal harbor living anywhere i think even in california.
bilge pump and automatic float ( but you dont need it cause she dont take on no water through any through hulls.
cqr anchor 45 pound i believe. certainly enough for the boat and she is pretty heavy. only a manual anchor windlass but it does the job.
sails aint so hot but they hold a foil.
sail plan is a cutter rigged sloop with all foresail hallards running to the cockpit for single handing the ship.
Boat will be dived and scrubbed here in July 2022.
forward v berth with hanging locker
two settees in the main cabin with lots of storage
full size beautiful chart table
three burner stove and oven.
these blue water boats are some bad ass sea voyagers. the only thing i wished it had would be a shower but i never had any problem between harbour showers and i have heard of people doing the topside shower system. just too nippy in alaska.

She is turn key and i took her out for a loop last June 2022. reliable little engine just takes some time to get her going after shes sat for a while but after those new batteries she came to life after not being started for a year or more.
oh and a red dot heater for the cabin while the engine is running, same idea as a car heater working off antifreeze. that being said she cools with a heat exchanger keeping salt water out of the engine.
