Interior layout
Eight berths are split up , with two vee berths (convertible to a double) in the forecabin, a single to starboard in the saloon with a root berth above it, a double/dinette (table can be lowered to a double) is set to port and two berths in the aft cabin.
Galley
Starboard at the foot of the companionway, includes an L-shape galley that includes a Flavel B700C gas stove with two burners, grill and oven. Cook's strap is fitted, plus a grab rail at the sink and the stove can be used either gimballed or fixed. The sink is split into two sections, the smaller used for draining utensils and an oversized sink with an extendable faucet. Worktop beside stove and a cold box by sink. Opposite of galley is the navigation station.

I am a private seller and have this Priced to SELL to a serious buyer! Last year same model, same size sold for over $90,000. Two Rivals are listed in the $70,000 price range on YachtWorld. Best priced Rival on market. Once owned by Tania Aebi's father and Pathfinder's Mediterranean voyage is described in the book 'Maiden Voyage' (have supporting documents).
Rival 38A for sale, 1979, long distance proven English built and ready for Bluewater Cruising.
