Hunter 31 Sailboat 1985 for sale . With 4 sails including an older Main , a young 100 % jib , an old large racing genoa , spinnaker . Yanmar 2GM diesel is original but in good working order. ( No engine hours on panel ) . Folding 2 blade prop helps sailing speed. Draft is 5ft 3inches , fin keel. This fast cruiser version has ample space and comfort ( 2 double cabins ) with a great sailing reputation and a real delight to handle to which I can attest after a summer of cruising locally in Long Island Sound and to Newport , and a delivery up from the Chesapeake in May 2023. She will need some upgrades and cosmetic work to suit your budget. We have continued maintaining and improving her as we go . Her current price is well below the 'BUC recommended' and less than all other 31s in "sail away" condition. She can be sailed immediately without yard work or repairs. Last bottom paint was May 23.
