This beautiful Taswell 43 features private accommodations for two couples in separate cabins, plus a settee berth.  Headroom is typically 6 ft or better throughout the boat and storage capacity can only be noted as incredible.
Beautiful, first-class workmanship is featured throughout this vessel. All trim is hand-selected teak, sanded and treated to a smooth satin finish, with high gloss finish on the trim, all professionally refurbished (2019). The floor is teak and holly varnished to a high gloss. All doors are beveled and hand-fitted, all hanging lockers are lighted and cedar-lined and are equipped with louvered or vented doors. There are custom teak handholds mounted throughout for additional safety whilst underway.

The all lead, super-efficient, 11,000 lb Sheel keel provides exceptional performance with only 5’3” draft. The ICW friendly 63.5 ft mast makes travel easy. With the efficient 3 blade Autoprop, cruising fuel consumption is typically only 0.75 gal/hr or less, and with a speed rating PHRF of 105, it is a very fast boat. The 2008 75 HP engine Yanmar diesel can get through any seas or headwinds. The Yanmar has 2100 hr, and the sensor displays are in the cockpit

The galley is centrally located for minimum rocking at sea. The 4 burner, gimballed force 10 stove with oven and broiler is adjacent to a convent prep area. The front and top loading refrigerator and huge deep freezer are run by 2 new digital computer-controlled Sea Frost DC systems that can keep ice cream hard indefinitely at anchor with the high power solar panels on the stern arch, unattended.

Overhead lighting is uses LED fixtures, as well as fluorescent fixtures in appropriate places and tasteful brass reading lamps.

She is comfortable at sea, having a Brewer Comfort Ratio of well over 30 with the 11,000 lb lead Sheal keel and center cockpit (extremely seaworthy and comfortable with rough seas).

The stern arch holds the three powerful solar panels and permits easy access to the dinghy on the stern. The arch also holds a satellite weather antenna which connects directly to the chart plotter and a local weather station.
The hull is a solid 17 layer layup with vinyl ester, the premier hull material used today, which is stable and has no blister possibility. The hull is over an inch thick and is insulated to keep it warm in winter and cool in summer.

The upholstery is a high-grade, custom Sunbrella upholstery fabric in a beautiful neutral color pattern, which is accented throughout the yacht.

Forward Stateroom
Continuing aft, you enter the forward guest suite sleeping area. This space features a large, full-sized Pullman berth to port with louvered lockers outboard, opening port, 2 overhead dorades, fan, and reading lights. There is a bank of large drawers under the Pullman berth. This forward suite is truly designed for the comfort and convenience of your guests! Across from the Pullman is a cedar-lined closet and a 6 drawer dresser and a huge storage area with teak wrapped door. The stateroom can be isolated for privacy with a sliding pocket door.
Main Salon

Continuing aft to midships, you will enter the main salon, where you find a beautiful inlaid folding teak table that seats 8 comfortably. Just to port of the mast, is the Nav station with captain chair for reviewing instruments, charting voyages, working on the computer or playing guitar. Just aft is a beautiful, large, lazy susan for liquor and wine storage and a rack for wine glasses and crystal.

Galley

This classic, offshore-safe galley, located to starboard of the companionway steps, will delight the gourmet cook, whether at sea or dockside. Every inch of space in this incredible galley has been designed to provide more workspace and storage than in most land-based, home kitchens.  Custom cabinets, drawers, and lockers make it easy to store provisions for extended cruising. Thoughtfully positioned deck prism and multiple LED bar lights and overhead lights offer great lighting and multiple opening port-lights ventilate the entire galley area.

The dual Sea Frost refrigerator and freezer are another system that has been custom designed and totally custom installed. The system uses state of the art digital computers for independent control of the refrigerator and freezer.  The system uses both air and water cooling for excellent continuous operation at anchor or at sea, using only the power from the solar panels. For example. you can indefinitely keep ice cream on a mooring in 90degrees F without running the gen set or engine.

For the serious gourmet cook, all of the workspaces and storage areas in this beautiful galley, cooking and then dining becomes an art in the world of cruising.
