If you're looking for a clean, spacious and fun boat to make your yachting dreams come true, look no further. If you are unfamiliar with the Mainship 40 Sedan Bridge, the best words to describe her might be versatile and accommodating.
The Mainship 40 Sedan Bridge is a family-friendly boat whose spacious interior and large flybridge make her an excellent choice for day cruising, overnighting and entertaining.
She is built on a solid fiberglass, modified-V hull with a 13'6 beam, and her low-profile appearance results from locating the engines under the cockpit sole.
The Mainship 40 Sedan Bridge uses V-drives to move the engines aft under the cockpit sole, effectively lowering the salon while simultaneously improving the boat's profile and allowing large accommodations for a boat of this size.
The interior of the 40 Sedan Bridge--a step down from the cockpit level--is arranged with two staterooms forward and a spacious, full-beam salon with lounge seating for eight. The open galley and pull-out sofa allow guests to interact with each other and the chef. There is storage under the sofa.
There is a walkaround double berth in the master stateroom. Drawers and two hanging lockers provide storage. The head with toilet, vanity, and shower is a good size and has two doors providing privacy for the master stateroom.
A bunk room provides extra sleeping and storage with a hanging locker and drawers.
The 40 Mainship's molded fiberglass steps to the bridge, with island helm console, make it very easy to walk up to the large walk-around helm with wrap-around seating for the whole family. A very unique forward bridge walk-thru design allows super easy and safe access to the forward deck for line handling, tending anchor or just hanging out on the spacious aft deck. The foredeck includes a large bench seat for lounging.
The cockpit has built-in bench seating, with wet storage underneath, a transom door that leads out to a large swim platform with seating, and a shower hook-up for an outdoor shower. Aft facing transom seats, with more storage underneath, make for a perfect day on the water.
There's plenty of room to stretch out with the whole family and then some.
