This 1998 Bayliner Capri 1850 SE is in great condition overall. The hull shined up really nice with a fresh coat of wax last week. There are a few imperfections, as with any used boat (some tears in the vinyl and a tear in the carpet up in the bow).
Engine is a MerCruiser 4.3L V6, winterized every year that I've owned it. We had the lower unit taken apart last year, no problems found except the lubricant leak (reason for opening it up). The marina replaced the gasket and all is well. I also put a new battery in last week. On the state registration, it shows the horsepower as 220, though I'm not 100% confident that is accurate. Everything I've found online says this engine was actually 190/195 HP.
My #1 question has been about hours on the engine. Unfortunately, this boat did not come with an hour meeting. All I can tell you is the following: 1) I was told by the guy I bought it from 4 years ago that he was the 2nd owner and didn't use it much (parked in his garage) and 2) For the 4 years I've owned it, we've used it an estimated 100 hours.
Please shoot me an email with any other questions and thanks for looking!
