2002 Centurion 23 Typhoon with Strom package.
This vessel is equipped with the upgraded MerCruiser Black Scorpion V-8 330 HP engine.
The seller reports the engine hours at this time are 730.
The seller advised the perfect pass was not working, the seller did not use this feature, but believes the computer needs to be replaced.
Transmission and four-blade prop info: 1:1 V-drive transmission and an OJ bronze four-blade 13 x 12 1/2 propeller.
This vessel is equipped with perfect pass speed control.
The seller has also completed the following upgrades in the past two seasons: Custom Upholstery with center bow cushion, Gator Step custom flooring, Upgraded Electric brakes on trailer, Custom SunBrella cover for Highway driving and storage, Spare tire with trailer mount.
The Typhoon also equipped with a Roswell Surf Rack and has an 800lb onboard ballast that is great when wanting to surf or wakeboard.
The Surf rack is equipped with a pair of wet sound Icon tower speakers and also with the stereo system, there is pair of JL Audio M3 speakers, Exile 5 channel amp, and 10inch subwoofer.
Some of the online reports and specs for this model include the following information regarding this engine upgrade. 47.2 mph top speed. on plane in 2.5 seconds on its way to hitting 32 mph in five seconds and 43 mph in twice that. Midrange acceleration drills from 20 to 40 mph produced a time of 6.41 seconds.
Major Feature with this vessel is the construction: Centurion used a proprietary stringer system called ICS, which is similar to the system used in FAS3Tech Formulas. A positive-molded fiberglass rib cage lays into the hull and is bonded in place with Plexus adhesive. The design allows for strength without a lot of added weight.
