We began our company as boatsforsale-ads.com over 15 years ago as an online boating classified ads website and re-branded and redesigned it as BoatersNet in order to better serve the boating community. The parent company of BoatersNet (BoatersNet, LLC) is a Florida Corporation and can be trusted to handle your boating needs. We recently added BoatersNet Charters to our business line – basically just because we love opportunities to get out on the water!

Captain Bill Rountree

Captain Bill Rountree is a lifelong boater, holds his US Coast Guard 50 ton Masters license for near coastal waters and is a former US Sailing certified instructor. He has owned sailing yachts, motor yachts, racing sailboats, rowing shells, kayaks, windsurfers and on and on. He spent two years living aboard and cruising on a forty foot sailboat and has countless inland and near coastal miles and over 10,000 blue water miles. He has retired from his career as an IT manager where he managed large projects for companies such as Coca Cola, Harley Davidson, Porsche Cars and many more to pursue his passion – boating!
